Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026. Set out as questions rather than clauses, and drafted to be consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Formal legal review is still pending.

Who ends up with my phone number?

One installer, and only one: the business covering your suburb on the Central Coast, so they can call you and arrange to look at the yard. It is not distributed across a panel, it is not resold, and it does not go to an operator sitting in Sydney or Newcastle who services the Coast on the way past. The point of a site built for one region is that the enquiry stays in it.

What does the form ask me for?

Four things: your name, a contact number, your suburb, and roughly what the job involves. That is the lot. No payment details, ever, and nothing the Privacy Act calls sensitive information. Please do not volunteer any of that in the message box either, because whatever is written there is forwarded to the installer exactly as you wrote it.

Who is "we"?

Central Coast Turf Quotes publishes at centralcoastsyntheticturf.pages.dev and is operated by Kerbside Websites (ABN 78 654 691 111). That company is the one accountable under the Privacy Act for personal information collected through this site, and the one that answers a complaint about it.

What is my enquiry used for?

Getting you quoted, and nothing else. It is not merged into a marketing database and you are not signed up to anything by sending it, unless you have separately agreed to that in plain terms. Sending an enquiry is free and puts you under no obligation to go ahead.

What happens behind the scenes?

Two suppliers are involved. The form itself runs on Web3Forms, an external service that receives the submission and emails it through to us. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps the ordinary server logs any host keeps. We also run aggregate analytics: page counts, and an approximate region worked out from an IP address, read as totals so we can see which pages are worth keeping. None of that builds a picture of an individual. Beyond the installer and those two suppliers, disclosure happens only where the law requires it.

Are there cookies?

Only what the site needs to function, plus the analytics above. Nothing follows you around other websites, and nothing is sold to advertising networks.

How is it kept, and for how long?

Submissions travel encrypted, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational protections to what we hold. No system is perfectly secure and we are not going to pretend otherwise. An enquiry is kept while it is being dealt with, plus a short record-keeping period, and then it is deleted.

Can I see what you hold, or have it removed?

Yes to both, and to correction as well. The Australian Privacy Principles give you those rights and you do not need a reason to use them. Ask through the quote form, say what you want done, and we will act within a reasonable period and tell you the outcome.

What is the McKays Grass Seeds connection?

Kerbside Websites shares ownership interests with McKays Grass Seeds, an Australian lawn care business cited in a few articles here. The businesses keep separate customer records, and asking for a turf quote on this site passes nothing to McKays.

Anything else I should know?

This page can change. The date at the top says when it last did, and continued use after a change means you accept the current version. Privacy questions go through the quote form, addressed to Kerbside Websites (ABN 78 654 691 111), which is the only contact channel this site operates, and it is fine to use it for a question rather than a quote. The Terms of Use cover the rest.
